For many years, the brothers of the Delta Zeta Chapter of Sigma Alpha Mu Fraternity dreamed of a chapter house near campus. For much of the early 1990's, we rented a warehouse in which we held some of our meetings and most of our parties. That was nearly 10 miles away. Those were fun times, but the warehouse was never truly us; it never had that special FIU Sammy touch and so we waited for the day when it would become more realistic for us to have such a unique facility. Perhaps we'd buy something nearby because we'd never have a chance to actually build our own home on campus, that is until 1999. Click here to read more. |

The DZ Housing Coporation would like to introduce The Samster. Official news letter of Sigma Alpha Mu, Delta Zeta chapter. This news letter will be released quarterly to hundreads of Sigma Alpha Mu alumni and active members in the State of Florida. 3rd Annual Domino Tourney brings back old memories.
On April 9, 2011 over 50 alumni and active members participated in third annual domino tournament. Rainier Gonzalez and Lester Jimenez won the tournament beating out runner ups Danilo Cabrera and Mike Cano. Click to see past post. |
